All Gdansk Soroptimists would like to express our sincerest condolences for the loss of Joss to all her family members and friends.
We have so many great memories from Joss and her friends' numerous visits to Gdansk - common trips, meals, shopping at the Amber Fair... And interesting talks - it was so fantastic to discover that we shared common values, interests despite completely different backgrounds. Me and my husband's, Krzysztof, visits to Southport were joyful continuation of our friendship. We particularly cherished our trip to the Lake District when Joss and Peter took us for a wonderful sightseeing tour there. On the way we saw the Minecraft event, by accident, as they thought it would be mine-visiting place while we realized it was a gaming event that we knew about thanks to our grandchildren, who we fans of the game. The conclusion was funny - you will not know about such things unless you have grandchildren! So, later when Joss became a grandmother she was so happy and proud, certainly not because of Minecraft but just out of pure joy while looking at the baby.
We also appreciated her hand-made Christmas cards with lovely wishes, so personal and optimistic.
We will miss Joss very much.
